Check Availability
Iris Cottage is located adjacent to the main house and with ensuite facilities, contains a large double bed, comfortable lounge seating, TV, cooker, fridge, microwave etc and enjoys a private patio where you can watch the sun rise or the moonlight and stars under the clear skies.
Sarahs’ Cottage is next door to Iris Cottage, a larger cottage with walk in large shower , fully equipped kitchen with two patios , one to the back where you can enjoy a sunrise breakfast and the other to the front which offers panoramic views of the stars under clear skies.
Snuggle down with fluffy pillows, duvets and bathrobes as part of your indulgence , with fabulous views overlooking the forestry and garden, what more could you ask for.
Mill View Cottage is the last of our wonderful outhouses loving restored and in our opinion the jewel of Pheasant Lane ; standing tall overlooking the forest beneath with its’ wonderful views. This two storey property is unique with the old stone entrance to the ground floor which hosts the kitchen and dining room. Under the quirky décor lighting , the handmade staircase brings you to a wonderful airy and bright sitting room with a raised bedroom to the rear, so comfy you won’t want to leave.
Local Produce
On arrival you will be greeted with some complimentary local produce in your room just to help you chill that little bit more. We source the milk from Loughpark Farms , one of only five farms in the country who have a licence to produce raw milk. Our butter is made from that raw milk. It has to be tasted to be believed.
Our signature brown bread is made by Marion from the local café in the village. If you do decide to venture out for breakfast , we would heartily recommend going there.
Finally Sean Nua provides us with our eggs. They are pasture raised which is where they move the chickens from field to field on a daily basis. This is the equivalent of Free Range ++ and trust us you can see and taste the difference.
Dog Friendly
We are aware from personal experience how difficult it can be to find a relaxing weekend break when your plus one or two is of the canine variety. Although we currently do not own a dog at present, that was the driving force behind ensuring that we made Pheasant Lane dog friendly. There are ample grounds for them to explore and plenty of local trails within a short drive for them to enjoy. Please note due to the stairs in Mill View Cottage we will only accept small dogs in that unit.
